The Dolce & Gabanna 2014 Fall/Winter Women’s Collection is a magnificent display of beauty, elegance and glamour, with brilliant designs and lavish precious stones. The chosen models that were fortunate enough to showcase this triumphant collection needed to be flawless, and that they were. The overall look for the models was aristocratic, with a bit of couture flair. The makeup was applied to give the models a fresh-face look without over-dramatizing their faces. The products used to create the look were black liquid liner, and burgundy or cherry lip color. To design the look, the makeup artist applied puff concealer under the model’s eyes. She also applied liquid foundation using a brush to avoid the makeup becoming too heavy or matting.
This technique allows the model to keep the natural glow of her skin and to create perfect lines; the makeup artist used a black Khol Eye Crayon, instead of a pencil, to apply the model’s eyeliner. Afterward she used a cotton ball to create the perfect shape and once achieved, the makeup artist used a Black Glam Liner to draw over the shape. Desert blonde, Smooth Eye Color Quad, brushed on to perfect the model’s eyebrows where hairs were uneven, perfected the eyes. Black Secret Eyes Mascara is used to separate the model’s eyelashes and give them amazing length and volume. To create rich lips, the makeup artist crayoned on ruby Precision Lipliner on the models lips, followed up with ruby Classic Cream Lipstick, which she applied with her fingers to prevent a hard film forming. To finish off the model’s look, Perfect Finish Powder, applied minimally to the models face, is the last touch needed in creating the ideal fresh, face look.
